Community Guidelines

MatchaMocha is built for real connections.

Our goal is simple: to help you get offline and into meaningful conversations over a cup of coffee (or tea!). To keep things safe, respectful, and fun for everyone, we've set a few ground rules. By using MatchaMocha, you agree to follow these guidelines both in the app and when you meet in person.

The Core Principles

1. Authenticity

Be yourself. Use your own photos and your real name. No catfishing, no fake personas, and definitely no impersonation. We’re here to meet real people, not invented characters.

2. Respect & Kindness

Treat everyone with dignity. Harassment, bullying, hate speech, and bigotry have zero place here. Whether you match or not, keep interactions polite. If a conversation doesn’t go your way, move on with grace.

3. Safety First

Specific Expectations

4. Adults Only (18+)

MatchaMocha is strictly for adults. No minors allowed, unaccompanied or otherwise.

5. No Solicitation or Commercial Use

We’re a dating app, not a marketplace.

6. Sexual Content & Nudity

Keep your public profile clean. No nudity, sexually explicit photos, or bio text explicitly seeking hookups. We focus on getting to know the person, not just their body.

7. One Person, One Account

One account per person. Don't share accounts, and don't create multiple profiles. If you've been banned, creating a new account is a violation of our terms.

8. Illegal Activity

Don’t use MatchaMocha for anything illegal. That includes buying/selling drugs, counterfeit goods, or human trafficking. Doing so will result in an immediate ban and a report to law enforcement.

9. Account Inactivity

If you don't log in for 12 months, your account may be deleted. We want to keep our active user base fresh so people aren't matching with ghosts.

Consequences

We take these rules seriously. Violations can lead to warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans. We dedicate resources to investigating reports of misconduct, including behavior that happens offline during dates arranged through our service.

See something? Say something. Use the in-app reporting tool to flag bad behavior anonymously. We’ve got your back.
